Tales To Be Told, Volume II is a compilation album of songs that aren't part of the story sets, a spiritual successor to Tales to be Told. It contains a mixture of crew member backstory songs, Kickstarter perk songs, and miscellaneous standalone songs.

Twisted Threads[]

A song based on the Greek myth of Arachne. Arachne is a gifted storyteller, who is taken under the wing of Olympian spin doctor Athena. Over time, Arachne hungers for more, and attempts to break away from Athena's control and spin her own, anti-Olympian propaganda, but the Olympians arrange her murder, and she ends up spinning for Athena again as a mind in the Acheron.

Actaea and Lyssa[]
Written for a backer of the The Bifrost Incident Kickstarter.
A song based on the Greek myth of Actaeon. In the original, the hunter Actaeon spies on the goddess Artemis while he is out hunting with his dogs; she catches him, transforms him into a stag, and sets his hounds into a frenzy so that they tear him apart. In the Mechanisms adaptation, Actaeon and his hounds are replaced by two sisters. Actaea is a feminised version of the name Actaeon; the name Lyssa comes from a Greek spirit of madness and insanity.
